It's BandCon Friday, we say it every month, taking 15-20% commission & fees on sales for 30 days a month, whilst doing absolutely nothing other than that, does not become acceptable because you waive 80% of these charges once a month. But anyway - they've captured so many it's almost pointless saying anything about it :)
That said, everyone can enjoy 20% off everything in store tonight. And Members can enjoy 20% increase in their discounts for the same time. Members can use their normal codes, the rest of you can use FBCF20 for 20% off.
Before we kick off with the actual release news and what not, lets take a minute to say Massive Congratulations to The Rezillos for securing numbers 4, 9, 15 and 18 in The Album Charts with their brand new album. They play Big Blue on Sunday and there are a handful of tickets still available for that.

On Wednesday we revealed the final piece of our membership releases for 2027. The debut album from Corselette. The new project from Kate Jackson (The Long Blondes) was produced by the legendary Martyn Ware and will be hitting shops in September 2027. Members and pre-orders will be fulfilled a little earlier. It's a stunning piece of work.
Also on Wednesday we packed Charlie Clark off on tour with copies of his debut solo album, today we took delivery of all the variants. Lemon, Ginger and a strictly limited Lemon & Ginger vinyl.
Last Night Billy Reeves shared a link to a review posted by the inimitable Jerry Thackray. In this weeks sub stack he took a deep dive into our 1030 disc and what a delightful read it is - you can chec out the review right here
Paul McGeechan popped into the office this afternoon, delivering some rare Love & Money goodies - we hope to have these items up on sale later in the weekend, keep your eyes peeled for some updates.
In other release related news, the new album from St Dukes is now on pre-sale in advance of its February 2027 release. Stu Kidds album is close to commencing manufacture, we also met up on Wednesday to agree Sleeve plans and running orders. A quick discussion with manufactuers about perforation and reverse board and it seems we are all set. This is going to be a very special record indeed.
Finally, I must take a moment to tell you about the two girls who visited us today, all the way from Moscow. They came basically because their ambition was to buy Peter Capaldi's record from the shop of the label who made Peter Capaldi's record. Paint me completely bemused but utterly delighted. Anyway - after gifting them a T-shirt and the signed print Peter gave to the staff (it was the least I could do) I asked them if they knew which variant they wanted, we only have a couple left in stock. I check the one on the shelf (white) and she handed me the one she had pulled from the racks. I opened it to discover that it was one of the four white/grey marble variants we had made and the one of the four, we had misplaced and lost in the racks 18 months ago. This rare 1 in 500 record had gone through 18 months of sales, untouched and found itself in the hands of a fan who had travelled all the way from Moscow. Sometimes, you just can't make it up!
Well that's it for another Friday Night - it wouldn't be a newsletter of I didn't ask you - What's stopping you joining?
Before we sign off finally and properly, can we shout out to Rebecca, who has made a chargeback request from her credit card company, because the signed record she purchased (and has received and retained) wasn't signed where she "hoped it would be"! It was signed on the reverse of the sleeve, where the artist chose to sign, not on the white inner bag - FFS
This is the world we live in - people blatantly stealing from artists without any compunction.

Here's Cousin - he thinks you're a bellend!
